Statement on Recent Law Enforcement Shootings

We are saddened by the tragic law enforcement shootings in the Newton Division area. One life lost, whether at the hands of law enforcement or by other members of our community, is one too many.

We must work together to get the answers our community asks for and to hold those responsible for violence accountable.

We are calling for increased communication, accountability and transparency. We are committed to ending all shootings, increasing dialogue and finding solutions towards peace. We invite you to join us moving our community towards healing.
