BBQ Fundraiser for Newton Cadet’s Family

One of Newton’s longtime cadets, Rigoberto Antunez, is currently suffering from a great loss in his family. The cadet’s father was struck by a DUI driver this past weekend and did not survive his injuries. This has left the cadet and his family in a real financial bind.  LAPD Newton Division would like to raise some money to help the family out with funeral services.

They are having a fundraiser this Thursday, October 2nd from Noon-7pm in the Newton Station community patio area. If you wish to participate it would mean a lot to all of the Newton Cadets.

They will be serving burgers and chips for only $5.00. They well also be raffling off two dodger chairs and some bobble heads.
